Coaching What is it?

Two fundamental definitions of coaching:

Coach, Therapist, Consultant, Instructor: Who to choose?

Depending on your need, it is a different professional that will be able to answer your needs.

Very simplified recap:

The instructor/trainer is the one that educates.

The consultant is consulted for is knowledge or his know-how and his scope of intervention covers the whole organization.

The therapist facilitate the healing, he stands in the Health domain and covers the complete path of his patient.

The coach creates a secure space for the client in order to explore a specific objective. Thanks to the questionning and the process set up by the coach, the client emerges himself the actions necessary to realize his objective.


My coaching

Coaching is a co-creation between the coach and the client.

The client brings the content and the coach brings the framework, the process and the personalised questionning.

I coach persons that have taken the decision and the commitment towards themselves the live the life they want to live.


The assets of an LKB coach

Analyze the client’s demand in order to distinguish if it relates to a coaching or an expertise transfer (training) or something else.

Set up a support framework to the key stakeholders according to agreed and success criteria’s.

Share the ethics (SFCoach / International Coach Federation) with every stakeholder in order to ensure the confidentiality of the coaching mission for the coachee and the respect of the whole process.

Inform its clients on his role, the inputs and means that will be executed.

Structure et plan sessions (time and place) depending on the objectives of the mission.

Adapt the content of each session depending on the evolution of the coachee towards the objectives fixed during the launching meeting with the stakholders.

Put his talent of questionning, de-centring, reformulation and listening skills at the service of his coachee in order the he (the coachee) be able to recognize and interpret his discoveries and learnings himself.

Support his clients in his changing needs awareness, in some analysis, interpretation of situation deciphering.

Commit himself to participate to supervision sessions (exchange on follow-up cases, develop his competencies and be put in front of himself in the coach-coachee relationship) in order to improve his professional coach practice.
